Abstract

The integration of computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and translation management systems (TMS) into university-level translation programs has become an essential requirement. Among these tools, memoQ holds a significant position due to its advanced features and adaptability to pedagogical needs. This article explores the pedagogical parameters involved in teaching memoQ as part of translator training. It examines the target competencies outlined in the European Master’s in Translation Competence Framework, the teaching methodologies employed, course contents, and the integration of artificial intelligence in the learning process of post-editing skills.

Résumé
L’intégration des outils de traduction assistée par ordinateur (TAO) et des systèmes de gestion de traduction (TMS) dans les cursus universitaires de traduction est devenue une nécessité incontournable. Parmi ces outils, memoQ occupe une place importante grâce à ses fonctionnalités avancées et son adaptabilité aux besoins pédagogiques. Cet article explore les paramètres pédagogiques de l’enseignement de memoQ dans la formation aux métiers de la traduction. Nous analyserons les compétences visées par le référentiel des compétences des masters EMT, les méthodes d’enseignement, les contenus de cours, ainsi que l’intégration de l’intelligence artificielle dans l’apprentissage de la post-édition.
