International Arab Journal of Dentistry

Aims & Scope

Aim and Scope

The International Arab Journal of Dentistry (IAJD) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research in all fields of dentistry. It publishes original articles, case reports, and review papers that contribute to the advancement of dental science and clinical practice.

Since January 2023, the Editorial Board has decided to publish only manuscripts written in English, while maintaining abstracts in both English and French to ensure broader accessibility and visibility within the international scientific community.

The journal was previously published twice a year. Beginning January 2026, the Editorial Board resolved to increase the publication frequency to four issues per year, appearing in January, April, July, and October. The Editorial Committee ensures the rigorous application of selection criteria to retain articles of irreproachable scientific quality.

Launched in June 2010, IAJD is a regional journal established through collaboration between Arab and European professors and researchers representing multiple dental specialties. All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process, evaluated by at least two reviewers and, when necessary, by a statistical reviewer, to guarantee scientific rigor, objectivity, and transparency in editorial decisions.
AJD provides immediate and free access to all published content, based on the principle that open access to research fosters the global exchange of knowledge and advances in dental sciences.
