Abstract

Most of the time, translators strive to achieve absolute neutrality towards the text they are translating. However, to what extent can this neutrality be achieved, and what is the distance that may separate the translator from the text? Translators can be affected by multiple factors, including cultural, ideological, and psychological factors that can influence their neutrality. In view of that, this article sheds light on the impact of ideological factors on the translation process. It examines various ideologies that may affect the work of the translator, directly or indirectly, consciously or unconsciously, and ultimately, how these influences manifest in the translated text.

التلخيص
غالبًا ما يسعى المترجم إلى تحقيق الحياد المطلق تجاه النص الذي يعمل على ترجمته. لكن إلى أي مدى يمكن تحقيق هذا الحياد، وما هي المسافة التي قد تفصل المترجم عن النص؟ فالمترجم عرضة لعوامل متعددة منها ثقافية أو أيديولوجية أو نفسية، من شأنها أن تؤثر في حياده. من هذا المنطلق، يسلّط هذا المقال الضوء على تأثير العامل الأيديولوجي على وجه التحديد في عملية الترجمة، إذ يستعرض الأيديولوجيات المختلفة التي قد تؤثر في عمل المترجم، بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر، بوعي منه أو بغير وعي، وصولًا إلى تجليات هذه التأثيرات على النص المترجم من جوانب عدة
