Abstract

The interpreter should keep up with all the developments taking place in his work environment as well as in the world. And in order to adjust to the transformations and changes imposed by crisis situations, the interpreter has to update his knowledge and adapt to the technical and technological changes to the tools and equipment used in his job. Thus, he has to transform his working methods and conditions accordingly.

Résumé
L’interprète, de par la nature de son métier, doit toujours être à l’affût des développements ayant lieu dans son milieu de travail et dans le monde. Pour s’adapter aux transformations et aux changements imposés par les crises, il se trouve obligé de mettre continuellement à jour ses connaissances et de s’adapter aux évolutions techniques et technologiques qui touchent les outils qu’il utilise dans son métier. Ainsi, doit-il transformer ses méthodes et ses conditions de travail en fonction.
