Towards a More Responsive and Inclusive Ecumenical Vision

From January 31 to February 2, 2020, thirty veteran ecumenists, Church leaders who have had long and deep commitment to the ecumenical Movement met at the invitation of His Holiness Aram i in Antelias (Lebanon). They came from all over the world: Burundi, Finland, Germany, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the United States and the Vatican. The report of this consultation presented deep reflections on the reality of the ecumenical movement, its past and its present, with a new vision of the future. [...]

Du 31 janvier au 2 février 2020, trente vétérans œcuménistes, dirigeants de l’Église qui ont eu un engagement long et profond au sein du Mouvement œcuménique, se sont réunis à l’invitation de Sa Sainteté Aram I à Antelias (Liban). Ils venaient du monde entier : Burundi, Finlande, Allemagne, Ghana, Inde, Indonésie, Jordanie, Kenya, Liban, Corée du Sud, Suède, Suisse, Thaïlande, États-Unis et Vatican. Le rapport de cette consultation a présenté des réflexions profondes sur la réalité du mouvement œcuménique, son passé et son présent avec une nouvelle vision de l’avenir.
